About Diego

Diego Grandry is a French multidisciplinary artist living in The Hague (NL).

His work is inspired by notions of embodied ‘otherness’ and dichotomies of ugliness and beauty. He has devoted himself to transporting physical objects into virtual realities and re-appropriating their meanings by creating a unique set of visual languages and symbols. Re-imagining the body through technology is a recurrent theme in his work. His work has materialised into different forms such as video installation, advertisement, design, print and online communication and research. His work has been presented at KABK, TassenMuseum, CineKid Festival 2019 and Dutch Design Week, where he was awarded with the Dutch Young Talent prize.

Diego is the co-founder of Ernest together with Samuel Rynearson.
